Personalized Coaching for Big Goals

About My Coaching

I can help you improve your training and race preparation for any road or trail race from 5k to the marathon.

1. We will work together to dial in your different training zones. These can be heart rate based if you have a heart rate monitor or based on pace or RPE (relative perceived effort). Your training plan will make effective use of your time by productively working across different zones. We will monitor your progress with your subjective feedback as well as objective data (duration, pace, heart rate, etc.).

2. We will take into account the specific demands required to meet your goal - musculo-skeletal, neuro-muscular, fueling, etc. - and work them in to your training.

3. It doesn't matter how fit you get if you don't get to the start line healthy, so we will take a measured approach to getting you fitter with constant feedback.

4. I can help with race strategizing and post-race analysis. There is no such thing as a failed race - we can learn from each race to improve in the next.

A Bit About Me

I'm a passionate runner and RRCA-certified running coach. I live in Palo Alto, CA, and I'm a member of the Palo Alto Run Club. I enjoy racing everything from the 5k to the marathon on both roads and trails. Having goals and putting races on the calendar keep me motivated to train and stay fit. I also love continuously learning and helping others achieve their own ambitious goals.
