If you have a reliable heart rate monitor, Final Surge can help you track how much time you spend in different heart rate zones. But first, you need to set your zones.
From the Final Surge beta platform on the web, click on your name and choose Settings.

On the resulting screen, hover over the Workouts menu and select the HR/Power/Pace Zones menu item.

On the next screen, under Add New Activity Zone, choose
Zone Type: Heart Rate Zone
Activity Type: Run
Threshold: If you are one of my athletes, I will give you this number - the number in the screen shot below is just an example. If not, ask your coach or search how to do a field test or how to estimate it from your maximum heart rate.
Auto Calculate Zone: Joe Friel - then click Apply
Click Save Zone at the bottom of the panel.

Now you are all set, and we will be able to see reports like this for your workouts:
